Mullite Insulation Brick-Hengli

High Thermal Resistance Products

Mullite Insulation Brick-Hengli

Insulation blocks are available in Hengli, which require no mortar joints to produce sizes up to 610*500*100mm. These blocks give furnace designer more choices on specific area to reduce mortar joints and significant fuel & labor savings.
A large-scale machine shop at the factory is capable of supplying accurate machined shapes. Single brick tolerance is within +/-1mm while pre-assembled tolerance can be strict controlled according to drawings.
Hengli insulation blocks are divided into:
a. FJM23, FJM26, FJM28 grade according to ASTM standard;
b. High strength insulation blocks with CCS reach 10MPa

    Features

    1. High Temperature Resistance: Mullite bricks can withstand very high temperatures, typically ranging from 1000°C to 1650°C, making them suitable for use in various high-temperature furnaces and kilns.

    2. Low Thermal Conductivity: Low thermal conductivity helps in minimizing heat loss and improving energy efficiency in industrial applications.

    3. Good Chemical Stability: Mullite bricks are resistant to chemical attack and corrosion, which enhances their durability in harsh environments.

    4. High Compressive Strength: They possess high compressive strength, which allows them to maintain structural integrity under heavy loads and high temperatures.

    5. Low Thermal Expansion.: Mullite insulating bricks exhibit low thermal expansion, reducing the risk of cracking and spalling under temperature fluctuations.

    6. Lightweight: These bricks are lightweight, which makes them easier to handle and install while also reducing the overall weight load on structures.

    7. Accurate Dimensions: They are manufactured to precise dimensions, ensuring a tight fit and minimizing gaps in insulation, which further improves thermal efficiency.

    8. Applications: Mullite insulating bricks are widely used in the lining of cracking furnaces, hot blast furnaces, ceramic kilns, electric furnaces, and other high-temperature industrial furnaces.

These features make mullite insulating bricks a preferred choice in industries requiring robust and efficient thermal insulation solutions.

    Typical Application

Glass furnace sidewall and bottom insulation, port insulation, tin bath roof, etc.
Ceramics roller kiln, tunnel kiln, pusher kiln, etc.
Other industrial furnaces where less mortar joint is required.
